Beginning of the year is always a good time to set goals and put on paper some of the dreams you want to achieve. So, I believe that many of you end up placing travel among these goals, right?
For those who want to tour national destinations, I selected 10 suggestions that yield incredible experiences. Virtually all destinations provide greater contact with nature, so they are perfect for those who love to do outdoor activities, whether in the middle of the beach or in the green.
Every Brazilian has an imaginary of the Amazon, right? So, to discover even more about the local culture, try to plan a trip to this amazing place. Our trip there was surprising and we were delighted with the gastronomy of the region, in addition to the wonderful scenery that were part of our itinerary.
It may seem like an unusual destination, but I promise it’s worth it! Start the trip through Manaus and then explore other corners of the region, making unforgettable trails and boat trips.
Rio Grande do Sul
A very different destination in the Serra Gaúcha – Parador Casa da Montanha! This accommodation is in Cambará do Sul and is a super charming inn, perfect for couples who want to be cozy in a different and romantic place.
Enjoy your stay to know other points of the region, such as the Aparados da Serra National Park and the Itaimbezinho Canyon. Oh, and for those who want to relax a lot, just enjoy L’Occitane Spa.
Boipeba is, without a doubt, one of my favorite places in Brazil. It’s that kind of relaxing trip, you know? As it is not a space still little explored by tourists, the beaches and mangroves have a very quiet movement.
It is worth mentioning that the accommodations in the region are not very luxurious. However, this does not mean that you will not be comfortable. The inns are cute and the local food is delicious. Ah, the internet signal over there is very weak, so go prepared to detox the social networks.
Enjoy ecotourism and don’t bother spending a few days in rustic accommodation. You will love to visit Jalapão. The place is known mainly for its super imposing dunes and rock formations, which leave anyone with their mouths open.
Expect a very warm climate and an unforgettable sunset. What makes the experience even more special and different are the simplicity of the places and the natural beauty of our country.
I couldn’t leave Jericoacoara off the list! For those who love the beach, this is a place that deserves to be visited even more than once. The region has a more rustic atmosphere that makes the place even more unique, in addition to the wonderful beaches.
One of the landmarks of this destination is the Duna Pôr do Sol, perfect for taking buggy rides or just watching the sunset. Speaking of buggy, this is one of the main means of transportation in the region, so you can be sure that you will have a lot of fun.
If you like hiking and waterfalls, you can already put Chapada dos Veadeiros on your list! The landscapes are surreal and you come back with renewed energy. I recommend this trip for those who really like to walk, because most of the trails are long.
From my point of view, the trails we did were not so complicated and even more sedentary people manage to complete them. If you really want to visit this place, be sure to add Vale da Lua e Cavalcante to your itinerary 🙂
Like Chapada dos Veadeiros, Capitólio attracts those who enjoy hiking and waterfalls. Lago das Furnas is one of the reasons why tourists are enchanted by the region, not to mention all the other incredible aspects of nature that surround the place.
The natural pool formed by the waterfall at Lagoa Azul is another point that is never left out of the route of the people who go there. And all this success is not for nothing: the water in the lake is really crystal clear and is a very quiet area to swim and enjoy the summer days.
Famous for rivers and caves, the Bonito region is one of the most attractive for tourists who enjoy ecotourism. The tours there are paid for individually and end up being a little expensive. However, the amount charged is necessary to maintain the structure of the place, which receives tourists very well.
The Lago Azul Cave is a must do for that area, I swear! This is one of the most worthwhile tours, mainly because you will enter a surreal environment in which the color of the water even looks like something artificial.
I know that Alagoas is a very wide destination, but there are so many attractions to do there that it is even difficult to choose a single tour. Maceió is the center of attention of the state, but other areas such as Lagoa do Roteiro and Dunas de Marapé are also incredible tourist spots.
Another tour option there is the Ecological Route. Some of the stops are São Miguel dos Milagres, Porto de Pedras and Passo de Camaragibe. Plan your itinerary well to get to know various places in the region.
Last, but not least, Lençóis Maranhenses. The scenery is paradisiacal, with dunes and lagoons that take your breath away. Avoid traveling there in the second half of the year, because the lagoons end up being low and diving is almost impossible.
For those who like warm places and walks very connected to nature, this is one of the most incredible destinations. If you are that person, you don’t even have to think twice before closing the trip 😉
