Only those with pets know how difficult it is to travel and leave the pet at home, right? We always have to guarantee a person to keep an eye on the animal and take care of it properly. However, to the delight of all animal lovers, many hotels are adopting policies that accept pets, especially dogs!
If you have always dreamed of taking an incredible trip with your four-legged child, be sure to write down the tips I am going to give you now. I made a selection with wonderful hotels around Brazil and I am sure that you will find one that is right for you. Ah, be sure to take into account your pet’s comfort too, since many animals tend to be stressed in environments that are not part of their routine 😉
Unusual boutique hotel and spa
The first hotel on the list is in Búzios, at Praia da Ferradura. The design of the Insólito Boutique Hotel is super modern and cozy. According to the description of the place, they seek to celebrate Brazilian culture through decoration and also the dishes available in the restaurant of the place.
Another positive point is that all accommodations have a sea view. I don’t know about you, but I love waking up to the sound of the waves, opening the window and seeing a beautiful view of the sea. For your pet to be accepted there, you need to make a request for them to analyze if there will be any additional costs in your daily. Then, just enjoy!
Mama Shelter Rio de Janeiro
Those who accompany us know how much we love modern and different hotels. If you’ve always had the curiosity to stay in one, just book a few nights at Mama Shelter Rio de Janeiro. In addition to the incredible hosting, you will have the bonus of being able to take your pet there.
They have 55 rooms, of different sizes and prices. The outdoor areas of the place are also beautiful and yield incredible photos of your pet. As you will be close to the beaches of Rio, be sure to walk the boardwalk with your dog.
Vila Naia Corumbau
Lovers of northeastern Brazil are also able to travel with the animal and ensure a great stay for him as well. Vila Naiá, for example, is located in Corumbau, in the southern part of Bahia. His location is well away from the center of the state, so it’s perfect for anyone looking for a hotel to relax and get a little bit off the world.
The eight accommodations on the premises follow a more rustic style, which makes the environment even more charming. There are four suites and four small houses, each of which was inspired by a color. Have you ever imagined how nice it would be to spend some very peaceful days with your dog in a beautiful place like this?
Green Farm Praia do Rosa
Despite not being a luxurious hotel and full of perks, Fazenda Verde is highly praised by those who have already stayed at it. Located in Praia do Rosa, they bet on a simpler decoration and with the face of a country house.
It is that kind of environment that welcomes you and makes you feel at home, especially with your best four-legged friend. Some of the accommodations also have a kitchen, so you can cook something different there!
Village Praia do Rosa
Another super tasty accommodation in Praia do Rosa is Village Praia do Rosa. The hotel emerged as a family business and, at first, it only had 5 rooms. Nowadays, they already have 16 houses and 5 suites, all super well equipped.
The 5 special rooms for those with dogs are located outside the hotel. Village Praia do Rosa’s only recommendations are for you to walk your dog always on the leash when you are walking inside the hotel. That way, it won’t cause any discomfort for other guests and you can make the most of your stay 🙂
Another hotel in Santa Catarina! Refúgio das Galés is located in Bombinhas, right in front of the sea. Guests have direct access to the beach via a hotel staircase. The simplicity and modesty of the accommodation make the experience super special, not to mention the tranquility you will have when staying there.
The hotel rooms are pure charm. The decoration is beautiful and combines well with the proposal to bring delicacy and rusticity to the objects. All suites have sea views and very large balconies, ideas for you and your pet!
The beaches of Jericoacoara are breathtaking. If you want to get to know this little piece of the Brazilian coast with your dog, just book a room at Vila Kalango. The hotel’s decor is very different and interesting. They sought to use materials from the region for construction, including cumaru and maçaranduba wood and even coconut shells.
The accommodations, 24 in total, are divided between bungalows and stilts. All are super cozy and ideal for those who want to spend a few days resting. All areas of the hotel have WiFi, but sometimes we need to disconnect a little, right?
Praia do Estaleiro Guest House
As you may have noticed, Santa Catarina has many pet friendly hotels, and Praia do Estaleiro Guest House is another great option there. The 21 rooms on site are well equipped and prepared to receive you and your pet. One of the accommodations that I found most interesting is the so-called “Master Apartment”!
The hotel’s bistro restaurant is also a highlight of the Estaleiro Guest House. The dishes are very contemporary, from the combination of the ingredients to the presentation. In addition, this is a very pleasant region to stay, especially if you want to visit a beach on the south coast of the country.
Hotel Santa Tereza
Paulo and I went to Rio de Janeiro recently and that was our choice of accommodation. The hotel is lovely, with a very authentic and special decor. The on-site pool has a wonderful panoramic view and will make you want to spend the whole day just relaxing.
If you have the habit of having lunch or dinner at the hotel, you will love to eat at Santa Tereza. Their restaurant, called Térezè, is considered one of the best in Rio and specializes in Brazilian cuisine.
Oh, don’t forget to let us know that you will be with an animal companion when booking your accommodation!
Hotel Gran Marquise
Last but not least, the Hotel Gran Marquise. It is in Fortaleza, just in front of Mucuripe Beach. Almost all accommodation at the hotel overlooks the sea, the most expensive of which is on the 18th floor and is over 130 square meters.
As it is a very large hotel, the price of the rooms varies widely between the simplest and the most luxurious. To get an idea of the values and already guarantee a reservation if you are interested, just click here 🙂
Are you already choosing which hotel you plan to go with your pet? I confess that we, along with Don and Boboy, were very excited about the idea of visiting one of these places! Comment here if you know more pet friendly hotels that have gone or want to go!
