Today is the birthday of one of my favorite actors today: Bradley Cooper. The actor turns 41, yes forty-one !!! Nothing better than doing a marathon with your favorite movies, right?
I had already commented here on the blog about Catching Fire that is still playing in some cinemas! Now there are a few older ones that are certainly worth seeing (or reviewing):
American shooter

The film is from last year and won an Oscar nomination for best actor to Bradley! He gained no less than 18 kg to play soldier Chris Kyle. The Texan joins the American army and becomes one of the most important soldiers.
The film is directed by Clint Eastwood and leaves the audience tense for much of the feature! It’s worth watching!
Cheating

The film features Cooper in a version at least different. The actor plays an FBI agent, Richie DiMaso, and wants to catch a large group of criminals and has the forced help of two cheaters: Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale) and Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams).
I could see that the film has a strong cast, right? In addition to the trio mentioned above, the film also features Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner, Robert De Niro, Jack Huston and Michel Peña – all VERY well! The film is directed by David O. Russell.
Want more? The film ran for 10 Oscars, 7 Gold Globes (won 2) and 10 BAFTAS (won 3).
The good side of life

The first partnership with actress Jennifer Lawrence paid off! The film tells the story of Pat Solatano (Cooper) with bipolar disorders and recently divorced. Through friends, Pat meets Tiffany Maxwell (Lawrence) who also has several psychological problems. For those who want to see more good actors, know that De Niro plays Pat’s father!
The film is based on the book by Matthew Quick and was adapted for the cinema by David O. Russell. In addition to the story being very good and the actors incredible (Jennifer won her first Oscar with them), the film has a great production!
