Anyone who has read the post about the best restaurants in Rome should remember that I had already placed the pizzeria Bonci in my Wishlist, huh? And, even though I left the tip in the other post, after tasting the best pizza dough in the world, I had to come back here to share my experience on the spot 😉
Well, you didn’t read it wrong, so far the best pizza dough I’ve ever eaten was at Bonci Pizzarium. It is crunchy at the edges, but it has a super soft center that practically falls apart in the mouth, really. Not to mention the different filling options: there are alternatives for the classic, bold and vegetarian. Besides the pizza being divine, the place is one of those very unpretentious, you know?
To give you an idea of how casual the place is, there you can order the pizza by the piece (in the style when cut), they get hot on the spot and you eat at the outdoor tables or take them to the trip.
The service is super fast and, although it is almost always full, it is not one of those “touristy” restaurants, okay? I can tell you that the price (which is per kilo) is quite fair!
As if they were not enough reasons for you to want to stop by, find out that the Pizzarium is close to the Vatican Museums and the Cipro metro station, that is, it is very well located.
I’m sure that if you are walking around the region you will smell the aroma from afar and, after reading this post, you obviously won’t give up trying at least one piece 😉
