Breakfast

Breakfast

Every day is like that, in an instant everything starts to change, the sun rises, the water boils and someone puts the coffee into an infusion. Here comes the most important meal of the day, as we all know, breakfast. But “wait”! Des-what-what?
Although it is not very usual to call this meal breakfast, it is the real name of it, as we can see in other languages such as Spanish “desayuno”, English “breakfast” and French “petit déjeuner”. It needs to be well diversified because it is a meal eaten after a long period of fasting (sleep). Then the body will receive the first supply of nutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins and minerals. Fruits, honey, milk, juices, breads, eggs, ham, cheeses, butter, cookies, biscuits, jellies, there are a multitude of items that classically make up this moment, however, one of our particularities is to call it: Breakfast!
Perhaps it is due to the coffee exhaling its peculiar aroma, because it has the caffeine that stimulates awakening or because of all its other remarkable organoleptic properties. As well as we can observe the cognitive process of coffee is already so strong that we even say: “drink coffee” even if you do not consume the drink, some places also change the name “dinner”, for “coffee”, did you know that?
Breakfast leaves the gastronomic sphere and enters the social, intimate moment where the family gathers and prepares a table; enters the economy because it is an export and import product appreciated on all continents; it is good company for studies, it is good for physical activities, that is: “Mens sana in corpore sano”. Coffee emerged in the north / northeast of the African continent, reached the Arab world and spread throughout Asia, also reached Europe, thus being taken to European colonies around the world! Where he arrived, of course, he was gaining new faces, new methods and new companies.
Guys, I like coffee anyway: Frapê with cookies, Coffee without sugar with Bolo de Rolo, Coffee with sugar for savory dishes like a good Cheese Bread. Coffee is good with conversation, with reading, with good people! Is that you? What and with whom do you like to drink coffee?
