Mother’s Day has passed and, on special dates like this, there is almost always a little cake left. That’s because everyone takes a different dessert and all that abundance results in some delicious leftovers to enjoy the rest of the week.
That’s exactly why I decided to make a special post with recipe ideas to make with leftover cakes! I hope you like the selection and make at least one during the week 😉
Speaking of cake scraps I soon think of delicious cake pops! This version of dulce de leche is super easy to make and will make your days much more delicious!
Cake remnants can also become confectionery! Just crumble what’s left, process and put in the oven! This crumble can be used on top of other cakes, but also as a decoration for brigadeiros and, of course, cake pops!

The mixture of cake and brigadeiro is so accurate that, in addition to using the crumble in the decoration, you can invest in a version filled with your favorite cake. This recipe is with carrot cake, but of course you can substitute for the dough you want!
Layers of cake, whipped cream and jam can’t go wrong! Even that leftover sponge cake can be used in this version! Not to mention that the presentation in cubes is a charm, right?
