Cardamom childhood

Cardamom childhood

There are two things that I love to this day and that refer directly to my childhood: hot milk with cardamom and filled cookies (without filling). Do you know that day that you come home at night with a thousand problems that have not been solved and another thousand to solve the next day?
When it happens to me, I know exactly what to do: I take 4 very green cardamom seeds and knead them in the pestle, put them in a pan with milk and a spoon of sugar (to calm down it has to be sugar, it’s not worth a sweetener) and let it boil. I put some cookies in another cup and open the cookies and scrape the edges on the side of the cup, while watching any silly program that is going on. And ready … just the fact that I have this moment of emptying my head helps me to sleep better, it is as if each of the problems were staying there in those biscuit fillings stuck in the cup … Ahhh … and that my husband will surely eat all later 😉
