I was looking for countless thrift stores in the Williamsburg area when I was taken by smell and stomach to the MarieBelle chocolate shop.
The store has a super cute retro look, but what really caught my attention were the chestnuts covered by chocolate and that you can help yourself in bulk, as well as the countless types of powdered chocolate to make hot chocolate: it has dark chocolate with orange, dark chocolate with liqueur, white chocolate with matcha, white chocolate with vanilla. I had never seen so much type of chocolate powder in a store and I was delighted.
The place still has one of the most delicious sorbets I’ve ever tried: cherry with cinnamon. I never imagined that these two flavors would look so good together and I’m already thinking about a cake with them.
In addition to all these wonders, they also make chocolate bars with the most varied types of nuts in the middle and have many teas. As a big fan I bought an English Breakfast and a lychee. I loved them both!
If you are passing by, it is worth the visit even if it is for an ice cream.
