Color Point: Mustard to Get Out of the Obvious!

Color Point: Mustard to Get Out of the Obvious!

I love adding color points to my looks and there’s no better shade to it than yellow, more specifically mustard. This is a color that has been on the rise for a while, but that whenever I put it on I think I should use more, you know?

The more closed mustard, as well as military green, moss, navy and even wine, are tones considered “neutral colored”. Well, we tend to think that neutral tones are just white, gray, beige and black, when in reality there is a world of possibilities.
Myself, despite loving a look total black, I have several pieces in earthy tones and more faded. Mustard turns out to be an excellent shade to light up production without weighing!

For those who enjoy a more basic style, color can appear in accessories and third pieces. A white shirt with jeans becomes something else with a jacket or a yellow cardigan, right? Another simple way to combine color in a more “simple” look is to use and abuse the more closed tones in other pieces 😉

Now, if you enjoy a bolder production, there is no lack of reasons to invest in the tone. The mustard piece can be the point of light in a production that mixes more colorful tones and is also a great ally in color compositions block who are coming back with everything!

When it comes to mixing the most vibrant tones, think of combinations with similar colors (oranges and reds, for example), but also do not discard the most daring compositions with contrasting colors, such as purple and even green!
