There is no doubt that the safest way to get through this moment is to stay at home! For that, the best alternative is to ask for a delivery. So, we list the best of São Paulo to order in quarantine. After all, the focus now is on finding ways to be as cozy and fun as possible. And, since we are at home, how about ordering food, putting on a good look and going out to dinner in the living room? 😂
Ah, ask for local chefs and restaurants! Small businesses are going to have more problems than large corporations right now. So, when ordering delivery, choose restaurants that you know are from your city, or even more, that you know the owners – without a doubt, these are the best 🙂 So, we help each other! Apptite has had this footprint since before quarantine, so it’s on that list 😉
+ TIP: The deliverys are taking great care with hygiene, but before opening the packages, sanitize everything with alcohol gel or soap; prefer to buy with direct payment for the apps to decrease the contact with the delivery person; and of course, always wash your hands.

To start, a Brazilian classic, the Japanese! Apptite has an amazing special, called Apptite Sushi, made by sushiman Shunen. Paulo asked almost everyone to try it. 😂
Ah, in addition to the classics, we also ordered a good one with cream cheese and “farofa”, which is actually tempura dough. On the menu is like Crispy Philadelphia Roll.

Tess Kitchen at Apptite
Another classic is Tess Kitchen, made by chef Tess Abreu and also ordered at Apptite. The options are inspired by the American classics, but with a difference: you can go from the lightest, for the times of diet, to the heaviest, to kick the bucket every now and then. Ah, anyway, the products are 100% handmade, in the most organic way possible and with healthy ingredients.
I ordered the meatless options: Pesto wrap, made of eggplant, melted buffalo mozzarella, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan and pesto sauce; a delicious accompaniment to eat with bread or salad, which calls Spinach and Artichoke Dip: spinach and artichoke cream au gratin with goat cheese; and my favorite, which is on the menu as Bufala: a wrap filled with beet, arugula and eggplant hummus wrapped in buffalo mozzarella.
For Paulo, the meat options, which were three hamburgers: Turkey Burguer, of turkey drumstick with cheddar cheese and caramelized onion in brioche bread; the difference, with activated charcoal bread, Tuna burguer. The hamburger is tuna with avocado and coleslaw mayonnaise; and the one elected as the best: Chicken n ‘Bacon Sub, with grilled chicken and – amazingly – bacon jam! To accompany: gruyere cheese and avocado mayonnaise.
There was still dessert in this one: low carb cheesecake, based on tofu and cocoa, without sugar and the cookie Tess classic.

Arabia: best Arab in São Paulo
This is already our darling and there is no way to go wrong. Chosen – by ourselves – as the best Arab food in São Paulo, Arabia is perfect for this occasion. The side dishes come in perfect condition, and there is no problem because they are already cold. If the sfihas cool down a little, 5 minutes in the oven will make them incredible again.
I asked for the beloved and known hummus, baba ghanoush and dry curd. To follow, I chose a salad and the Syrian breads, one normal and one roasted. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t choose my favorite here 😂
Paulo asked for his favorites: puff pastry sfiha, Syrian sausage and raw and roasted kibe. And there is no discussion here, the highlight is the puff pastry sfiha, which is a delicacy in this restaurant.
+ The order was placed directly through the restaurant application, and the discount coupon is “mild5” 🙂
