How about taking advantage of the end of the year recess to put together a super special decoration for New Year’s Eve? I confess that I am very themed and I love to leave everything in the style of the occasion to receive friends and family. This year Paulo and I are going to spend the weekend away from home, but I still selected some Do It Yourself projects for you to be inspired until the 31st.
It has very simple pieces to make even more complex options, but that can turn adornments beyond the occasion, see? Aah, it’s worth mentioning that there are plenty of metallic options and full of glitter ๐

Do you still have a few bottles left over from Christmas dinner? Nothing better than giving a good wash and reusing these wonders of different shapes and sizes in the new year decoration. Metallic spray paint, glue and glitter can’t be missing!
CUPS

Are you traveling and didn’t take special dishes to the beach? How about glamorizing the plastic cup? A little glue and glitter on the base of the piece makes all the difference. The best? There is no danger of breaking during the party ๐

You know that roll of white paper you find in any big stationery store? So, it can be used in the decoration of New Year’s Eve. Just paint some with gold paint and cut the sides into thin strips. The effect is almost like that of a huge and super special garland. You can mix colors and, if you want, add a little glitter.
PAPER DECORATIONS

Do you know those very simple crepe paper ornaments that you find in party shops? Choose models in more neutral and metallic colors and hang them on some furniture or even on the stair railing. To fix it, just use silicone wire, string or adhesive tapesโฆ

Instead of trying to find those expensive metallic balloons to make 2018, you can just make the mold out of cardboard. Then, just cover with glue and metallic tapes!

The remnants of the metallic tapes can also end up inside transparent balloons! The tip is so simple and the effect is amazing, right?
CHARMING Adornment

You may have already seen ornaments like this in decoration stores, however it is much more affordable to do at home. Do you know how? Put glue and glitter on Styrofoam balls and paint some wooden toothpicks with gold spray paint (cut them if necessary). Then just stick the sticks in the ball and spread various ornaments around the house ๐

Take advantage of the rest days to do these wonders. I’m sure the decor will be much more special!
