It’s green bean time in the supermarket. The long vegetables are not only tasty, but also healthy and low in carbohydrates. Rich in potassium, magnesium and B vitamins, it contributes to a balanced diet.
Summer is the peak season for green beans. If you don’t want to eat so many carbohydrates, then the legumes are the right choice.
They only contain 5.1 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams, according to the magazine “Essen & Trinken für Everyday” (edition 8/2018). They are also rich in minerals. For example, green beans contain potassium, magnesium and B -Vitamins.
