Party in sight? Don’t worry about having to roll hundreds of brigadeiros and kisses at the last minute. You can prepare the sweets weeks in advance and freeze them, you know? They are fresh and delicious! Check out the tips on how to do at home:
- Only freeze sweets made with condensed milk and decorated with confectionery like grainy instead of crystal sugar, which can melt after thawing.
- Arrange the sweets in a jar with a lid 2 to 3 layers interspersed with aluminum foil. Another option is to freeze the balls out of the molds and then collect them in a plastic bag inside the freezer. When you want to serve, just put each candy in the mold and wait to thaw; D
- On the day of the party, remove the sweets from the freezer and do not touch them until they reach room temperature. They will get sweaty and it will look like everything went wrong, but calm down! When they thaw completely you will see that they are ready to be devoured.
- The sweets can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Stay calm, you have plenty of time to make several for your party!
