There is not much secret to the pasta of tsunami cake. The only point is that it needs to be firmer consistency, to be able to withstand all the coverage and assembly. It can be chocolate (like this one), or any other you want: orange, paçoca and even white pastry cake.
Of course the filling is optional, but makes all the difference, gives a whole charm and even more flavor. It is important to remember that you already have enough coverage, so remember to harmonize well. Chocolate icing, how about a coconut filling? For sweeter toppings, softer fillings and so on. Remember to make a consistent filling, since this is almost a naked cake.
Remember that the cake needs to have height necessary to give the effect. If you do not use filling, do the very tall cake or two / three cakes with a very thin filling 🙂

Ready cake and filling, it’s time to roof magic. The secret of this coverage is the texture: it needs to be neither be too consistent, nor too liquid. For that the right thing is to use starch in corn dissolved in milk.
