It is impossible not to remember that we are going through a moment of great tension due to the coronavirus. But, it’s super healthy for us to be informed about other content too, to to relax a little bit in this whirlwind.
Several brands have launched makeup news: some inspired by characters we love! There are makes by Mulan and Barbie and other famous brands, such as Gucci, Dior and L’Occitane en Provence.
Ah, at the end of the text, there’s a tip about alcohol gel, since it’s so hard to think of something else 🙂
Dior launches wonderful lip gloss
For lovers of the 90s, when lip gloss was an indispensable product, Dior launches – for the first time – a wonderful line of six colors of lip oils.
Lip Glow Oil, from the brand’s makeup line, has Color Reviver technology and cherry oil. Thus, it promises to increase the hydration of the lips. In addition, the gloss has colors that start in light pink, intense plum tones and even a red. To leave any mouth with a touch of glamor 🙂
+ Each costs around R $ 160 🙂
Gucci launches eyelash mask!
Gucci, which already has a makeup line, included yet another product: the eyelash mask. The mascara guarantees to lengthen the strands, leaving them well defined, but not too bulky or curved. The packaging is retro, all light pink with the name and lid in gold.
Ah, as always, we are keeping an eye on the references, right, love? The make-up artist of the brand, Thomar de Kluyer, applied several layers of the products on the models and left with this effect of exaggeration, super rock and roll.
+ It has to sell in the American Sephora for US $ 35 (approximately R $ 175).
L’Occitane en Provence now has a line of makeups
Nothing better than thinking about products with natural components, which in addition to putting makeup on us also moisturize and give many benefits. Fruits & Vitamines, which is totally inspired by fruits, seems to fulfill the role very well.
The compositions are from pomegranate oil, rich in vitamin E, from carrots, with soothing and regenerating properties and pomelo, rich in vitamin C. In all, there are 28 products, in two categories: lips and face.
+ Ah, the collection arrives in Brazil in March!
Barbie and MAC launch lipstick
I already spoke in another post about being inspired by a puppy, but what if we are inspired by a doll, Barbie? Her Instagram is great to get tips on looks and lifestyle: @barbiestyle.
And to make it even better, she just launched a lipstick with MAC Cosmetics. The product is in cold gum pink color and matte finish, inspired by the makeup used by Barbie. The packaging is pink and gold, to give even more glamor.
+ The product is for sale on the brand’s international website, for $ 20 🙂
Mulan has a collection of makeups!
The live action of Mulan has not yet launched. But, Color Pop has already put on sale a make up collection totally inspired by the film and the heroine.
The line has eyeshadow palettes, skincare products, lipsticks and blushes. All in packages with Mulan’s visual identity. Prices vary between US $ 9 and US $ 22 (R $ 45 to R $ 100) and the brand will deliver in Brazil with purchases starting at US $ 50.
Extra: the alcohol gel is gone, now what?
Due to all the hysteria, the product has been missing in stores or is very expensive. So, let’s go with some tips to don’t panic and be able to go through this phase more smoothly.
To fight the virus the important thing is to think that it has a layer of fat. Thus, ethanol or surfactants (present in soap, detergent, liquid or bar soap and shampoos) are the right products to wash your hands. So, if you are at home, do the cleaning with any of these products and leave the alcohol gel for when you go out on the street or do not have a tap nearby. That way, you save and avoid waste 🙂
+ Another tip: if you made a stock of alcohol gel, how about donating to someone who was unable to buy?
It is good to think that if you are at home or a little tense with this whole situation, thinking about other matters and / or testing some makes is a great option to relax. There is a text on the website about it and to read more click here. Oh, and tell us what you’re doing for and what your tips and inspirations in the comments!
