What makes green smoothies so special?
The green stuff in the green smoothie scores with a high content of vitamins, minerals and secondary plant substances. Compared to fruit, it has little or no fructose. In addition to vitamins, minerals and trace elements, chlorophyll plays a particularly important role in green drinks.
The secondary plant substance, which gives the green plants and vegetables their color, is considered to be a real wonder drug. Chlorophyll keeps your intestinal flora healthy, creates blood, has a detoxifying and disinfecting effect. The bitter substances are also important. They stimulate your digestive organs and also support the liver and bile, which detoxify your body.
The high fiber content of the green smoothies not only has a positive effect on your digestion but also ensures that you feel full longer. The antioxidants it contains also protect your cells and can even prevent cancer.
