Looking for good accommodation is one of the most important parts of planning a trip. This task is not always easy, we already need to think about the cost and benefit of each place. Paulo and I, for example, prefer boutique hotels, so our options are already a little more limited.
Although not every place has this type of hotel, Moscow has some great and super comfortable locations. After all, it would be very difficult not to find charming hotels in a place as beautiful as the capital of Russia, right? Of course, there are countless possibilities for lodging there, but in this short list I will focus on boutique hotels!
Ararat Park Hyatt
One of the most positive points of the Ararat Park Hyatt is its location. He stays on Neglinnaya St, very close to Red Square, one of the most tourist areas in the city. The hotel has a more refined and elegant atmosphere, as well as a terrace that provides a wonderful view of the city.
The interior of the building, both in the common areas and in the rooms, is decorated in a very contemporary way. You can also take advantage of the hotel’s spa, sauna and gym – great options for those who want to relax or catch up on their exercise routine. The staff are very helpful and offer information on tours and the Moscow regions. Don’t be afraid to take your doubts with them 😉
Mamaison All-Suites Spa Hotel Pokrovka
Among the 84 rooms at the Mamaison All-Suites Spa Hotel Pokrovka, there are 7 categories. In other words, you can choose between staying in a smaller room or in an even more luxurious and extremely spacious accommodation. The hotel’s atmosphere is very classic, although several rooms have the most modern decor.
The building is very close to the subway, so it is very easy to get around the city. Ah, another really cool thing over there is the restaurant inside the hotel, called Meat & More. They specialize in European and Russian cuisine. Nothing better than having a good restaurant in the hotel when we are too lazy to go out especially in the cold!
Golden Apple Boutique Hotel
The Golden Apple Boutique Hotel occupies a 19th century building and, although it has a more classic look on the outside, it is super modern and innovative on the inside. The design of the restaurant and rooms is beautiful and all accommodation is comfortable and well looked after.
It also has an incredible location, being approximately a 20-minute walk from the Kremlin. Those who enjoy cultural programs do not need to go far from the hotel, because the ARTSTORY art gallery and the Lenkom theater are also nearby.
Moss Boutique Hotel
This is one of my favorite hotels on the list because his style is very similar to what I like today. Most of the interior of the Moss Boutique Hotel, including some of the rooms, has a burnt cement wall. Paulo and I enjoy this style so much that we are even leaving some details of the new producer like this, as I showed you in the reform diary.
Some furniture and lamps are made of natural materials, such as wooden branches. The more rustic side of the decor does not change the comfort of the rooms and small rooms in the common area of the hotel. In the neighborhood there are several restaurants and cafes, so it is a very busy area and great for walking.
Moscow City Guest House
Moscow City Guest House is not really a hotel, but an apartment, but it is a great place to stay. They offer only three rooms, all of which have stunning views of the city. This is a good option for those who want a quieter and less busy environment. Ah, the bathrooms are also all private.
As for the location, the building is a little far from the center, but it is a very good neighborhood. In addition, the nearest subway station is 15 minutes away, that is, very quickly and nothing that takes up too much of your time. Take the opportunity to explore other places along the way 🙂
Did you like the hotels? If you know any other place in that style over there, tell me here. While our trip to Russia doesn’t arrive, you can watch the vlogs from other trips we made, it’s all on the channel!
