Multiple Layers in the Winter Look

Multiple Layers in the Winter Look

For me, a winter look is practically synonymous with multiple layers, in the biggest “onion” style, you know? Especially in big and very cold cities (like St. Petersburg), locals usually have heaters everywhere and then no one deserves to fry under a jacket.
I used this look on our second day in Russia, but I decided to share the production details only now that the temperatures in Brazil gave that low – at least in São Paulo it is very cold!
Multiple Layers in the Winter Look
As I told you a few times here on the website and even on the channel, on the coldest days my first layer of clothing (blouse + pants / pantyhose) is always thermal! That was the case in St. Petersburg and so it felt good to put two thinner layers in the sequence: a classic white shirt and a knit sweater. In fact, letting the shirt slip out brings a charm to the composition and this is one of my favorite overlays 😉
Of course, as it was a day that we walked a lot on the street, I needed a warmer piece on top of everything and this fake leather overcoat was the perfect choice! In Brazil, we hardly need a model of this length, but I highly recommend the shorter fake fur pieces, after all, they give style and heat up instantly!

This look is also proof that you can wear skirts even on the coldest days of the year. I’m suspicious to say, but midi models with a well-defined waist and evasé modeling are perfect for this time. This is because you can use it with pantyhose underneath, boots of the most varied styles and still give a touch of femininity to the composition; something that is not so simple this season.

Of course, the thicker fabric and the sober plaid print help to give that winter face to the production, but that does not prevent you from using the same model in the mid season, right?
