Sunday brunch in Paribar has been talked about more than a soap opera wedding. Everywhere you read something about gastronomic itineraries in São Paulo, he pops up there and of course I was dying to know.
As Paribar is close to home, right next to the Republic, I went out with Paulo and the doguinhos on Sunday and we went to try Paribar’s famous Sunday brunch.
To start I have to say that more places are needed in São Paulo where we can take our dogs. For now, most places only accept outside areas and the biggest problem is that most places do not have an outside area or it is very disputed by smokers. At Paribar, as soon as we arrived, everything was packed in the outdoor area, especially because the day was delicious. We had to wait about 30 minutes to sit down, but I found it quick. Inside they had empty tables, but as I was with the babies I preferred to wait. From what I understood as soon as I arrived, the service in general seemed to be a little slow as there were some ingredients missing in the kitchen. As many media outlets had talked about Paribar brunch, which was exactly why we were there, the service had been very busy at lunchtime and ended up running out of things.
So, when we went to order there were no more dishes. I ordered an orange mimosa and Paulo a Bloody Mary, both were very well made and as I love this drink I always have a few drinks in Paulo’s.
For lunch I ordered an omelet with mushrooms and salad, which was also very tasty and in the right spot, no burnt pieces or very hard-boiled egg. It was perfect.
Paulo ordered ultra crispy bacon slices, and a scrambled egg with jamon and fresh asparagus that unfortunately came without the asparagus. And to share we asked for a hot miner with tomato on the ciabatta which was very tasty.
We closed the brunch with a blueberry jam waffle, which was a little dry. In general, the restaurant had its problems that day due to the movement, but still did well even with the mishaps. The Chef came to talk to us and apologize for the confusion, he was super friendly and polite.
Because of all this, we went back there on Saturday to review and get a new feeling of the place. We sat at the outside table again because of the dogs and the service was super accurate and fast. I had a mushroom risotto with brie cheese that was very well done and Paulo a steak, which was in the ideal spot, those very lowing; D hehehhehe To finish we ordered a brownie with ice cream. One of the best brownies I have ever eaten in my life, and look, I’m hard to praise other sweets hehehhehe. A nice place like this, in a cozy square in the center of the city and close to home, I just wish all the luck in the world and keep growing to reach many families with puppies.
From now on I will start putting my looks here in the script posts and I hope you like it. On this day I was very cool wearing a white linen Osklen dress and a white Benetton cardigan on top, with a striped espadrille from Anacapri, which is already quite old from wearing it. You should have bought two kkkkkkk. And these glasses are my favorite, I am in love with Thierry Lasry, a designer of glasses that is highly rated in France and comes from a family that has been manufacturing glasses for years. His father makes one of the most stylish eyeglasses I know, and he makes perfect sunglasses; DE to complete very cute mini rings, which complete his look in a hyper fun way. These are from Accessorize, but whenever I see some on any corner I buy and use them. Beijocas and I hope you liked the tips.
