Practical and Versatile: Ponytails

Practical and Versatile: Ponytails

No matter how small your hairstyling skills are, you have most likely made a ponytail in your life. Even if it was just to get the strands out of the way in the middle of work or before playing a sport, you have definitely put your hair down unpretentiously. As simple as it may seem, you can increase this basic hairstyle with a few little tricks.
I don’t know if they noticed in my last look here on the website or on my instagram, but I really enjoy using my hair up more – both in everyday life and at parties. In addition to buns, ponytails always appear and that’s why I decided to look for some simple tutorials, but that bring a greater charm to the hairstyle 😉

FINISHING

Wrapping a small lock of hair around the elastic already gives a more sophisticated finish to the hairstyle, right? I at least think this is a great tip for those who have no skill and want a discreet hairstyle option. It is that little detail that makes the difference.

Get out of your head that a low ponytail is straight or dull, okay? This is an excellent hairstyle option for parties, especially if you have wavy hair or do a light babyliss before. Separate two thick strands of hair in the front, make a low ponytail, finish with the strands over the elastic and secure what is left underneath. Simple, easy, delicate… I really loved the idea!

DOUBLE

A simple way to add charm to the traditional ponytail is to put the length of the hair inside the elastic. Just a little twist is already a grace, but if you want a more elaborate look, you can also bet on the double ponytail!

Do you have thin hair and / or little volume? This is a great option! A small knot on top of the elastic already changes the look 😉 Take the opportunity to unravel the length of the ponytail underneath to give the illusion of a larger volume.

DISTORTED

Another twist on the list, but this time it comes from the front. Separate the two strands in front, make a normal ponytail and finish with the twisted strands crossed!
