Does it say who wouldn’t want to take a good rest day? There is no better place to relax deeply than in a Spa! I confess that I love this kind of place, after all, this is where I can really disconnect for the longest time and dedicate myself a little more to myself, my body.
And anyone who thinks that Spas are directly related only to weight loss and aesthetics is wrong, see? The place has much more to do with self-care and, of course, well-being! You need to relax and that’s why I decided to share with you 5 wonderful Spas relatively close to the capital of São Paulo – some within the state and others further away!
Shall we start with my favorite? Rituaali is at the top of the list so fast – it’s no accident that we went twice already. The Spa has some very specific treatments that you need to know: Stress and Anxiety Control, for example, together with food, physical exercises, reflections (in groups and / or individuals) and, of course, the natural activities of the Spa. the Chronic Stress program, for those who have an unfinished problem, focused on work, the emotional side and also personality problems. Antidor is also worth mentioning: the idea is that Pain is a frequent cause of emotional, behavioral and spiritual changes.
There are several activities that fit within the Treatments, such as therapies (hydrotherapy, geotherapy and massage therapy), and many physical activities. There you can find outdoor activities, from hiking to trails and horse riding, in addition to heavier exercises, aimed at burning fat, such as running, spinning, weight training, zumba… Aah, there are also activities in the water: aqua aerobics , swimming and even some water games.
Now, if you are afraid of the food being bad, rest assured! Few times in my life I ate as well as at Rituaali, without exaggeration! The vital menu is basically vegan, with the exception of honey in some preparations. The dishes, juices and sweets are delicious and very fresh (they have a very complete garden there).
To find out more about this delightful place, just check out the videos on the channel we made our first time there. It is also worth visiting their website for more details 😉
Facing Praia Enseada, in Guarujá, is the Casa Grande Hotel Resort & Spa. A colonial white house, with an incredible view, which houses the Spasissimo. This Spa follows a concept known as “Wellness” – a conscious process of searching for a long, healthy and happy life. For this, they rely on some pillars such as nutrition, emotional control and movement – the famous exercises.
They work with different programs, depending on your goal. It has everything! For those who want to lose weight, there are specific programs. Now, if your intention is to do a dietary reeducation, seek a better quality of sleep, work on emotional health or take care of the body, they can also help you!
There is still the possibility to customize your program. A differential of this space is the “Pre and Postpartum” program. Nothing more fair for those who went through such tiredness, isn’t it? It’s worth the visit! Oh, and enjoy that the space is completing six years and has some very cool prices.
Spa at Hotel Fasano Boa Vista
In addition to being one of the most famous hotels in the region (and pet-friendly), Fasano Boa Vista has a SPA for anyone to fault. In addition to Yoga classes, many of the treatments follow the line of Ayurvedic medicine.
I believe that the great highlight of the Spa is the water circuit that is composed of wet and dry saunas, showers, whirlpools, thermal shock between pools and even an artificial waterfall! For those who enjoy water, there is no better option, right?
Hot stone massages and the famous foot bath are also other services available at the Spa, which, besides everything, is wonderful!
A Looking for a more affordable alternative? Mavsa can be the ideal place! This is one of the only Spas in Brazil that uses the Wet Table stretcher; the treatment lasts 90 minutes and includes massage, exfoliation, shower and sauna with chromotherapy, all done with you lying on the stretcher. It looks incredible, right? The best is the price: R $ 300 (values surveyed in 2018)!
There is still the possibility of having a complete Spa Day and, for those with children, there is also the Children’s Spa! The Spa is located inside the Mavsa Resort, just 2 hours from São Paulo, and can be a good alternative for a different program with the family on the weekend 😉
This Spa is ideal for those who enjoy nature and a more rustic footprint. It is close to Cunha, in the interior of São Paulo, and the inn that houses it is less luxurious than the other Spas mentioned, but that perfectly matches the region and the activities they offer.
The proposal is to integrate the health of the body to the mind, through some psychic, body and spiritual practices, such as therapeutic massage sessions (Ayurvedic, Bioenergetics, Relaxing Massage, for the Feet, and Reiki); holistic therapies, one example is facial and body acupuncture; floral therapy; and Thai Yoga Massage, which is a medieval practice done outdoors that works by stretching and activating the energetic parts of the body! Ah, there is still meditation for those who want to disconnect from everything, ok?
Did you like the tips? Soon more posts will come here on the site with tips on incredible spas in other regions of the country and, of course, options within cities for those who have only one day off 😉 Aah, feel free to suggest more places here in the comments, I would love to meet you!
