Take a swing!

Take a swing!

Do you know that tropicalist touch that is missing in your home decor? Paulo and I were in love with the decor of the room we stayed in Amsterdam (post and vlog) and there was a delicious hammock to relax. You may even find it crazy, but I swear I liked this idea so much that I started thinking about putting a suspended furniture here at home – besides being very popular, this type of furniture combines with the cleanest and most relaxing style of decoration I have love!

To bring this “tropicalist rocking chair” home, we researched some references on Pinterest and, to our surprise, there are several incredible ideas – both for outdoor and indoor areas!

Although I love a hammock, I confess that I was delighted with the swings that remind me of my childhood: they are simple, made of wood and tied with rustic ropes; everything very clean! This swing style also brings a more playful touch to the decor, I’m sure that all your visits will want to try it 😉
For those who are more traditional and do not want a swing in the middle of the room, rocking chairs and armchairs can also be replaced by suspended furniture – the swing is intense, but the look is much more modern and cool!

In the outdoor areas and balconies there are hundreds of legal options. Chairs, armchairs, sofas and even round chaises suspended by ropes or steel cables are the greatest charm! Bet on more rustic, colorful furniture and even different fabrics like lace. This style perfectly matches the climate of our country, don’t you think? Here in Brazil we spend a good part of the year and there is nothing better than lying in a hammock and enjoying these hot nights a little more – especially on the weekend 😉
