Paris will always have a special place in my heart, mainly because I lived and studied there. As I stayed in the city for a long time, I visited amazing stores that sell kitchenware and, obviously, confectionery. If you like this type of product as much as I do, be prepared to want to spend a lot of money.
The city has several places that are true havens for those who enjoy cooking. I decided to make a list with some of my favorite stores and I will share with you what they are. The pieces are so beautiful that it makes you want to buy everything!
Basically everything you can imagine in the kitchen, E.Dehillerin sells. It is one of the references of stores related to cuisine in Paris, both for the variety and also for the quality of the goods. One of the things I like most there are the copper pots and utensils, in the style that you often see in my recipe videos.
Among the products, they offer options for various types of materials, from copper to aluminum. Prices are a little high, but it is an investment in something that will last for years.
Mora is one of the best stores in the city for those who love not only cuisine, but also confectionery. They have a wonderful selection of molds, molds, spatulas, gloves, pots and more. Ah, another good thing is that, just like at E. Dehillerin, the products have a wide variety of materials.
In addition to all the pieces used to prepare cakes, pies and other sweets, they sell ingredients typical of the confectionery. That is, different colors, sugars, emulsifiers and chocolates. You can leave the store with most of the products needed to make an incredible dessert!
I recommend La Bovida to anyone who is looking for pots, knives and perfect shapes. The pots sold on site are even used as a decoration for the ceiling, because they are really beautiful and well diversified.
They also sell spices, seasonings, flavorings and other products that make all the difference when it comes to giving your food a special flavor. Those are the ingredients you use and people want to find out what they are 😉
Despite having a single name, A.Simon is divided into two stores, one next to the other. In the first you will find more expensive items, such as crystal objects and dishes. The other part, on the other hand, is more focused on small kitchen utensils, such as handles, shapes and gauges.
Here you will also find some wonderful copper shapes. I confess that I think this store is a little more expensive than the others, but it is worthwhile to stop by if you are curious to know or discover special pieces.
The Conran Shop
The Conran Shop sells both decorative items and kitchen utensils. It is a super complete store that brings together several sectors of important pieces for the home. Most of the products have a super modern design and some of them with very cute prints. Another thing they also sell is chocolate – there are so many options that you are even in doubt about which one to take.
As you may have noticed, I love pots and colorful dishes, and there they have a huge selection of that. My only tip regarding these items is to be careful not to end up buying too much, because some types of material can weigh too much in the suitcase!
As soon as you enter La Trésorerie, I’m sure you will fall in love with the place. It makes you want to change your whole kitchen by seeing the products in the store, they are so beautiful. The place has a format more similar to that of The Conran Shop, since it also sells decorative items and other objects for the home.
The style of the pieces is somewhat similar to Scandinavian, very clean and neutral. The products are wonderful and it is interesting to visit the store just to have decoration ideas and to know some trends of ornaments and utensils. Maybe you’re inspired to change your home’s environment a little bit, right?
Merci is very similar to Anthropologie, one of my favorite stores in the United States. They sell everything from clothes to decorative items and kitchen utensils. It is a huge facility to find such a wide variety of things in one place, so be sure to stop by.
The kitchenware section of the store is great, full of molds, pans, dishes and pots. One of the things I like most about the place are the containers for preserving food and spices – the glass ones can even be used as decoration depending on what you decide to put inside!
Even if you don’t plan to buy anything from the stores, I find it interesting to visit at least two of them to find decoration ideas and products for your home. It is practically impossible to enter and not fall in love with at least one of the pieces!
