Anyone who knows me knows how excited I am to discover new confectionery products and utensils! Every time I travel I try to go to a store to see what they sell and also find different materials to use in recipes. Since I’m going to Rome later this month, I couldn’t help looking for pastry shops there, right?
Not all places on the list are specific to confectionery. However, they have a huge range of incredible goods. I’ve already been in love with the products just looking at the photos and I’m sure you will love them too!
With more than 5 stores across Rome, Kasanova sells household products in general. In addition to everything having an excellent quality, they have a wonderful selection of molds and shapes. There are so many models that you are even in doubt which one to choose. Oh, they also sell a variety of piping options.
Kasanova is perfect for anyone looking for innovation in the shape of a cake or pie. Some of them are more traditional, such as heart and star. Others more different and fun, for example, shapes of four-leaf clover or falling star.
Peroni aims to offer products that are used by both amateur confectioners and professionals. For this reason, their diversity of goods is enormous. Unlike Kasanova, they sell not only utensils but also articles for the production of sweets, such as dyes, cocoa butter, flavorings and thickeners.
The shapes and molds of the store have several different materials, such as aluminum and silicone. I think that’s great because you end up having more options and choosing what is best for you. All items in the store are beautiful and modern!
Tervi works like a big store for confectionery items, you know? You can find a bit of everything – from dough shapes and cutters to dyes of countless colors and gold leaves. It’s paradise for anyone who loves confectionery, I swear!
There are so many options and varieties of products that you feel even lost inside the store. The shop’s goers are really people in search of specific products for confectionery, so it’s not worth it to go there just out of curiosity.
Although not a well-known store, Kitchen has an incredible selection of products. As the name says, the store’s focus is on kitchen utensils. They dedicated a large part of the goods to confectionery, so you will find great products there.
One of the things I like most about this store are the seasonal confectionery items, such as Christmas or Halloween molds, and various special molds for Easter. Oh, dyes and other types of products needed for more elaborate recipes are also sold in the store 🙂
Masterfood is a huge market and focused only on confectionery. It seems like a dream, right? Almost everything you imagine related to the universe of sweets you find there. Dyes, syrups, dried fruits, shapes, chocolates and countless items for decoration.
In my view, this is one of the most complete places on this list. It has a bit of everything and different brands. Among the options are Martellato, a unique confectionery store in Italy and Nestlé, which is already known to all of us. If I could bring to Brazil everything I wanted from this store, I would love it.
And do you know any other place that has confectionery products in Rome? If so, tell me here!
