You may even be tired of reading that good skin does makeup, right? Despite being a cliché phrase, there is no greater truth than that when it comes to beauty. In addition to drinking lots of water, cleaning your skin well before bed, using moisturizer and sunscreen – which, incredible as it may seem, are just the basics for healthy skin – yes, there are some products that help us a lot to leave that wonderful aspect in make up.
One of the essential steps for me is the use of the primer. Okay, the product is not really an indispensable item in the necessaire, but let’s agree that a smooth, uniform skin with less apparent pores helps any foundation to look more beautiful? Here in Brazil, the products with a matte finish, which hold the skin’s oil more, are a great success! I myself love to use them in recordings when excess brightness gets in the way.
However, I confess to you that I can’t resist a primer with a luminous effect on a daily basis. Even with mixed skin, I love that glow finish that these little products leave on the skin. You may have noticed by the latest beauty posts that I’m really enjoying this wave of more natural makeup and a luminous primer is certainly a product that makes a difference in this type of make up.
This is because in lighter makeup the base is not usually with super high coverage, so you can use and abuse more powerful primers that will not be “covered” by the other layers of products.
Another little product that I love to use is the eye primer, especially at parties when I usually use more shadows. Although a creamy eyeshadow or a thin layer of straight on the movable eyelids also works as a “base”, the specific primers for this region leave the finish smoother, do not interfere with the final coloring and help to hold the makeup well for longer.
This is not an essential product, but I swear it makes a difference when you need to make your makeup last for many hours ?
WHERE TO FIND?
If you are reading this far, I must have convinced you that the primer is the one “most” that can make a difference in makeup. That’s why I decided to share not one or two, but 10 product options that I love. The primer I have been using the most lately is Guerlain Météorites (nº 3) which gives a very luminous effect on the skin.
However, as I have already tested several, I made a selection with the most varied types of finish and prices! And you, have any more tips?
